A RESOLUTION OF THE ELK RUN HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CONSUMER FIREWORKS, AND TEMPORARILY AMENDING CITY CODE FIREWORKS 41.14 (3, A) BY ALLOWING THE USE OF FIREWORKS TO INCLUDE JULY 3RD and 4th

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk Run Heights, is desirous of temporarily amending the current City Code section 41.14 (3, A) Consumer Fireworks, by allowing the use of consumer fireworks on July 3rd and 4th, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

3.         Consumer Fireworks.

            A.        The Council will designate yearly, by resolution, the dates and times the use or explosion of consumer fireworks are permitted.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ELK RUN HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL that authorizes the use of consumer fireworks on July 3rd and 4th, 2026.
