Pet Licensing

Dogs and cats six months old or older are required to be licensed annually by January 1st at City Hall.

The licensing fees are $5.00 for altered pets and $15.00 for unaltered pets. After April 15, fees are $10.00 for altered pets and $20.00 for unaltered pets. Please bring proof of current rabies vaccination and alteration.

Lost Pet

If you have lost an animal, please visit our Facebook page to view images of current lost pets or contact Animal Control.

Fees

The impoundment/shelter fees for all animals, including animals held for rabies observation, are required at the time of pickup. Payment can be in cash or check. Fees are as follows:

• Pick-up Fee for a License Pet  $15.00
• Pick-up Fee for an Unlicensed Pet  $25.00
• Overnight Fee for a License Pet  $20.00/day (minimum)
• Overnight Fee for an Unlicensed Pet  $25.00/day (minimum)

All applicable tickets will be issued at the time of pickup.
