Community Profile

As of the 2020 census the population of Elk Run Heights is 1069. Our population in 2000 was 1052. Elk Run Heights derives many economic and cultural benefits from it's connection to the Interstate system and it's proximity to Evansdale and the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metropolitan area. This allows Elk Run to remain a small residential community but still have the benefits of a large job market, consumer goods and services and various forms of entertainment.
